R.M.F - ROCKY MTN FAIRWAYS

(Or is it REALLY MEAN FADE)

Somehow I made it back around to golf all thanks to my friend CJ. We were both still fairly new to Bozeman and he was looking for some golf buddies. After a 10 year break, it was time to dust off the ol’ sticks and pull out the Tiger Woods PGA 2002 skills. Luckily, the front-yard-flagpole-chipping, backyard broken windows, & cartboy shit-housery skills from growing up were still in the bag (somewhat).

Golf courses are each a little oasis in a busy world. While BIG GOLF pumps all their promotion to the “Top 100” courses, the local muni’s that drive growth of the sport don’t get a lot of photographic love. As it turns out the Rocky Mountain states have some insanely beautiful public courses. Whether you’re taking solo swings or making fun of friends for 4-putting, the local muni is where golf’s best moments take place most often.

RMF is a glimpse into how my brain views these fairways in the mountains.
